If you are going to travel by bus, note that it departs only two times per day, and all journeys are in the morning. It is better to buy tickets in advance, especially because you can do that online or at appropriate ticket offices. If you are travelling with children, please note that buses are not equipped with WC, and there are no more than two stops during the trip.
Travel by bus is much cheaper than other options – it costs start from 450- 850 THB , and this price includes the trip by ferry. The bus departs from Phuket Northern bus station (Terminal N2), the trip duration is about 6 hours. Then, it arrives at Donsak Pier from where the ferry departs. The trip by water takes about 1.5 hours. The bus departs one times per day. This bus is comfortable with air-conditioning.
For passengers travelling By Phantip Travel. Customers will have to board the bus at Phuket Bus Terminal. There are both direct and non-direct services to Koh Samui. Please make sure to contact and book your seats for the time and service you wish to travel on. If taking the direct service which will take you to Donsak Pier, customers can just board the ferry upon arrival. The non-direct service will be via Surat Thani town, from there passengers have to transit and change buses in town. The bus will take passengers straight to Donsak Pier. The ferry will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Donsak Pier in Surat Thani.

This is the 08.00 AM from Phuket Bus Terminal to Koh Samui is non-direct service will be via Surat Thani Town and may stop to pick up and drop off passengers along the way. These are for passengers who mainly want to get off along the way.
Direct Service
Our direct service which is the 9.00 AM service from Phuket Bus Terminal. the bus will head directly to Donsak Pier via the Southern Sea-board Route. Passengers will board the 15.00 PM ferry from Donsak Pier (Surat Thani) and will arrive at Nathon Pier approximately 16.30 AM.
